Meet Our Staff
James McLaughlin:Experience includes more than 30 years in residential and commercial remodeling and construction. He holds a degree in Construction Engineering and is a Licensed Class ‘A’ contractor in the Commonwealth of Virginia. In addition to his role as a small business owner, Jim's construction background includes extensive project management experience with both national home builders and major commercial construction firms, as well as insurance restoration firms. Jeffrey Hugh O'Donnell, Jr:
Joins Shamrock Restoration, a division of Shamrock Enterprises of VA, as Project Manager with over 5 years experience in residential construction. He brings a detail-oriented and personal/professional attitude while working with homeowners. Prior to joining Shamrock Restoration, Jeff was a Superintendent for a national home builder in the D.C. Metro area. Jeff also served his country in the United States Marine Corps, where he developed his organizational and project planning skills. Martin Young:
A native of Northern Virginia, Martin is a Project Manager for the Restoration and Handyman divisions that comes to Shamrock with over 10 years of home construction and remodeling experience. He is an EPA lead certified renovator that has managed everything from bathroom remodeling and finished basements to natural stone tile design and deck construction. He has a passion for helping customers find their own design style and making those ideas come to life in real property improvements that can be enjoyed for years to come. (myoung@shamrockva.com)
Tracy Payne:
Born and raised in Northern Virginia; Ms. Payne has recently joined the Shamrock family. She has previously worked in the accounting department for a very successful restoration company. She is also IICRC certified in Water Damage Restoration. We are pleased to have her as our new Administrative Assistant. (admin@shamrockva.com)
Craig McBurney:Craig is Shamrock’s Project Manager for its Handyman Division, bringing 30 years of remodeling and contracting experience in a variety of development projects, from residential site development, superintending and project management, to a full range of commercial projects, including flex office, complete utilities installation and excavation and structural concrete. Most recently he has worked exclusively in a sales, business development, design and construction management capacity as the founder of his own residential remodeling company focused on high-end master bath and kitchen projects in Williamsburg, VA. He studied civil engineering at Virginia Tech, yacht design at The Landing School in Kennebunkport, Maine and is a graduate of Chapman’s School of Seamanship in Stuart, Florida.
